They are recruiting a Finance Controls Director to join their leadership team.Client DetailsOur client, one of the largest FMCG businesses in Abu Dhabi, are recruiting a Finance Controls Director for their leadership team.DescriptionLead the month-end closing process for all group entitiesEnsure that all accounting transactions are reported accurately in compliance with regulationsImplement and maintain effective accounting policies to ensure robust internal controlsIdentify and evaluate the implications of potential risks to the organisation and subsequently formulate strategies to mitigate themOversee all local tax matters (VAT, Corporate tax) at a group levelConsistently keep up to date with all tax legislation and ensure that the organisation is compliant with themManage, train and develop a team of 5-6 direct reportsFormulate best practices to streamline business activities and foster a continuous development environmentProfileBachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or a similar disciplineProfessional accounting qualification preferred (CPA, CA, ACCA, ACA)Minimum 10-15 years of experience within a similar roleSolid knowledge of IFRS and tax mattersExcellent communication skillsJob OfferThe successful candidate for this role will be offered a competitive monthly salary along with attractive incentives.
