Job Description

We are seeking a flexible Field Technician to join our team at the UAE office. You will play a pivotal role in the integration and injection of tracer systems and sampling.   • Prepare and execute tracer integration, tracer injection, and well site sampling onshore and offshore.
  • Undertake diverse responsibilities within warehouses, including the installation of tracers, inventory management, and equipment maintenance.
  • Adhere to established processes and regional regulations (including Field QC, HSE and operational processes), meticulously documenting all job-related activities. Maintain detailed logs, reporting essential information such as sample details, time, location, and methodology.
  • Collaborate with local teams and coordinate operations efficiently.
  • Provide continuous progress reports to the Project Engineer.
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the oil and gas field.
  • Skilled worker certificate in a relevant discipline. Relevant work experience may compensate for the lack of formal education.
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues in the field. Mechanical background is an advantage.
  • Able to work with tracer and other chemicals following safety procedures.
  • Willingness to travel, with a high degree of flexibility for both domestic and international travel on relatively short notice.
  • Able to work 12+ hours shift at site, including the weekends and holidays if required by client.
  • Proficient in both written and oral English. Arabic proficiency is advantageous.
  • Energetic, quick learner, with a continuous improvement mindset.
This is an onshore/offshore position based in the UAE, with significant involvement in oil rigs and warehouses in the Middle East and abroad. You should anticipate up to 70-80 % travel, including within the UAE, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and other Middle Eastern countries. International travel may be required during periods of lower activity in the Middle East region.
