Job Description

Location: Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi, AEThe Field Service Engineer will have a working knowledge and experience of API Pumps, pump commissioning in the field, and pump workshop services.Coordinate with manufacturing facilities to prearrange documentation, parts and information required to enable efficient commissioning and installation of new equipment.Service equipment & perform equipment maintenance in accordance with customer service agreement.Troubleshoot equipment / system problems and provide technical support and guidance to customers.Perform emergency breakdown service for customers, on 24 hour per day 7 day per week basis.Interact with facilities on warranty related service work when on site, as necessary.Lead the inspection and / or removal of equipment from sites for transfer to the Service Centre as and when required.Lead investigations, either at sites or the Service Centre (as necessary) to quantify possible extent and source of reported operational problems.Disassemble equipment to identify and solve operational problems and to perform maintenance as necessary, install new parts or use agreed refurbishment techniques as necessary and then reassemble equipment.Produced detailed reports including digital photographs.Lead the re-installation of equipment at site.Perform the necessary condition monitoring and performance monitoring of equipment.Promote the use of Celeros FT original parts and the use of service agreements to customers.Create a positive work environment / relationship with colleagues and customers.Lead on-site field service teams, including Celeros FT Workshop Technicians and sub-vendors under the supervision of Celeros FT.Carry out inspections and QC activities to ensure all work meet the required standard.Provide assistance in the Service Centre Workshop as required.Proactively participate in operational activities for all Celeros Flow Technology brands and products to develop and expand knowledge and product expertise.Ensure adherence to all Corporate Environmental, Health & Safety guidelines and projects.KPI ? Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, colour vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.Required regularly to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms.Required regularly to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 30kg?s.Required occasionally to travel, usually by air, road or sea so may be required to sit for an extended period of time.Workshop conditions are in line with Celeros Flow Technology EHS regulations and country legislative safety requirements with regards to safe walkways, shelving and general working areas.Noise within the workshop is often at a level that requires hearing protection due to machinery, vehicle movement and general day to day activities. PPE / hearing protection must be worn where appropriate. Noise within the office area is moderate. (i.e. business office with computers, phone, and printers, light traffic).Due to the nature of the workshop environment, (doors constantly being opened and closed for deliveries) temperatures can range depending on seasonal conditions. Temperatures within the office are usually more consistent and should be used as necessary to regulate body temperature and to reduce discomfort.Within the workshop there is moving equipment (overhead cranes) and there is equipment / machinery with moving parts (lade). PPE / hard hats must be worn where appropriate. Remain alert within the workshop, adhere to restricted zones and use machine safeguards where necessary.Hand held power tools are used within the workshop. Follow Company procedures and adhere to time restriction to eliminate / reduce the risks from exposure to hand-arm vibration.Cleanliness is of paramount importance to Celeros Flow Technology however from time to time, dust and general packing materials may accumulate, particularly during grinding activities. PPE / dust masks and protective eyewear must be worn where appropriate.Working from height, on a raised work area or on a scaffold will be required within the workshop. Follow Company procedures to eliminate / reduce the risks of falls.All PPE is provided for by the company and must be worn at all times where appropriate.
