Greet and welcome guest politely upon entering the restaurant or making eye contact. Know the menu and upsell coffee items by presenting and explaining the menu and being able to answer any questions the guests may ask. Ensure equipment is kept clean and in a good working condition, calibrate and clean equipment regularly, inform management of any faults with equipment as soon as they happen to ensure it does not interrupt operations. Maintains inventories by replenishing coffee bean supply; stocking coffee brewing equipment; maintaining supplies, pastries, and cookies for coffee bar. Prepares and deliver coffee drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for coffee drinks, such as, but not limited to espresso, cafe latte, and cappuccino. Prepare and deliver drinks with guests specifications where applicable. Enhances restaurant reputation by accepting ownership for achieving new and different requests; discovering opportunities to add value to job and products with the approval of the manager Ensure stations are kept neat clean and in a condition that is conducive to busy operations. Make sure all needed condiments and tolls are in arms reach and neatly packed making it easy to manage. Keep up to date with current promotions and new products. Make guests aware of offers and special promotions.
