Responsibilities:ú Supervise multi-disciplinary teams of staff including hard and soft services.ú Monitor and assess staff work performance on an ongoing basis and provide performance feedback as needed, including completing formal employee performance reviews, and developing and carrying-out corrective action plans to improve worker performance.ú Ensure appropriate staffing levels of the Maintenance Department, including scheduling replacements, and initiating and participating in hiring new and replacement staff.ú Oversee the maintenance of the facilities, all equipment, and material handlingú Determine and/or approve major equipment maintenance, including appropriate action, method, and solicitation of the quote for repair/rebuilding of equipment.ú Ensure all equipment is upgraded to meet or exceed all standards.ú Participate in purchasing and selling of the facility?s machinery and equipment as directed.ú Manage budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness and improve the existing facilities at competitive costsú Ensure that the maintenance team operates its preventive and predictive maintenance programs at optimal costs.ú Provide technical assistance and operational support as required, specifically with respect to environmental conditions, energy utilization, and the basic functions of electrical, FF & FA systems, HVAC systems, plumbing, and all related mechanical systems.ú Ensure the management and maintenance of optimal levels of spare parts so that the operational facility does not suffer from work stoppage due to a lack of parts.ú Continually evaluate the effectiveness of maintenance procedures and programs and makes changes to improve quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.ú Ensure compliance with safety, health, and loss control policies and proceduresJob Purpose:ú To oversee all building-related activities and maintains all properties.ú Aim is to preserve the infrastructure in good condition and ensure that facilities are safe and well-functioning and to showcase properties in a professional manner that reflects a world-class organizational image and brand.
