Job Description

  • Analyze tender documents, specifications, drawings, and other project documentation to prepare comprehensive estimates.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal departments to gather necessary information and pricing.
  • Prepare and submit tender proposals in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring all client requirements and specifications are met.
  • Develop detailed cost estimates for facilities management projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and overheads.
  • Perform site visits and assessments to gather necessary information for accurate estimation.
  • Use estimation software and tools to develop precise and reliable estimates.
  • Oversee the estimation process for pre-contract and post-contract phases, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial plans for projects.
  • Monitor project costs and make adjustments as necessary to ensure financial objectives are met.
  • Work closely with the project management team to ensure seamless transition from tendering to project execution.
  • Collaborate with procurement, finance, and operations teams to ensure all aspects of the project are considered in the estimation process.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior estimators and other team members.
  • Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and expectations, ensuring these are reflected in the tender and estimation processes.
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations to explain estimates and project plans.
  • Ensure all estimations and tender documents comply with company standards, policies, and relevant regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all tender and estimation activities.
