Job Description

JOB PURPOSE: The main objective is to work in a team which establishes new processes for cross selling and cross collaboration. Manage and grow large account portfolios and client relationships for assigned client portfolios improve banks client related profitability, service quality levels and client interactions to ensure that bankers objectives are constantly met, and revenue targets achieved, while maintaining client satisfaction and portfolio credit quality.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Cross-selling & Cross Collaboration

  • Establish a framework and new initiatives for cross-selling banks products
  • Establish a framework and new initiatives for cross collaboration between bank divisions
  • Participate in the financial analysis conducted on clients and their respective industries/ markets to identify potential opportunities and risks across divisions and across products.
Client Relationship Management
  • Identify & develop cross selling opportunities and increase the cross-sell ratio with key clients.
  • Monitor client cross sell ratios and support RMs in achieving the banks return hurdle rate.
  • Assist in developing a minimum standard for minimum cross-sell
  • Help design a dashboard to support the RM in cross selling
  • Help design a dashboard that tracks cross sell
  • Originate new business opportunities with target clients across banking products
  • Examine & resolve credit, market, and operational risk aspects of the transactions in collaboration RMs, products and enablement units.
  • Assist RMs pitch, review, negotiate and conclude deals.
  • Motivate, Develop and Coach team members.
  • Maintain the credit quality of the clients relationships within the Portfolio to an acceptable level set by the Banks management
  • Achieve individual and team financial performance targets.
  • Ensure Account Plans are maintained for all key clients.
  • Ensure all credit conditions are met.
  • Launch initiatives across bank divisions which will lead to more cross collaboration
  • Create a framework and incentive structure for cross collaboration
  • Learning & Development - Attend appropriate on and off-the-job training programs and ensure development and skill upgradation of team members.
Day-to-Day Activities
  • Assist the Unit Head in the day-to-day activities such as formulating strategy, designing new bank frameworks and standards for cross selling and cross collaboration. Participate in internal meetings, prepare memos, be on client calls, documentation follow up, updating of pipelines, and any other activities in the unit/team to ensure continuity of work and the delivery of effective and high-quality outputs.
  • Manage and follow up on compliance requirements.
Policies, Systems, Processes, and Procedures
  • Follow all relevant policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
MIS and Reports
  • Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate statements and reports to meet the units requirements, policies, and standards.
QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: Minimum Qualification
  • Bachelors degree in Finance or related discipline.
  • Masters degree in Business Administration is preferred.

  • Knowledge of the banking sector, and FABs products and business strategies
  • Ability to work under pressure and adjust quickly to changing priorities

Minimum Experience
  • 12 years of experience in corporate banking and team management experience of 5 years
