Estimator (Civil)Job Location : Abu Dhabi, UAEResponsibilities:•Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for civil construction projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and other resources.•Analyze project specifications, drawings, and documents to understand project scope and requirements.•Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to gather information and ensure estimates align with project goals.•Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend value engineering solutions to improve project efficiency.•Conduct market research to source competitive prices for materials, equipment, and subcontractors.•Review and analyze bids from subcontractors and suppliers to support the tendering process.•Maintain a database of historical project costs, rates, and productivity metrics for future reference.•Provide regular updates and reports on cost estimates, budget comparisons, and cost-control strategies.•Ensure compliance with company policies and UAE regulations throughout the estimation process.Requirements:•Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.•Minimum of 7 years of experience in cost estimation within the civil construction industry, ideally in the UAE.•Proficiency in estimation software, such as Candy, Primavera, or MS Excel.•Strong analytical and mathematical skills, with attention to detail.•Knowledge of UAE construction costs, materials, and labor rates.•Excellent communication and negotiation skills.•Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
