Job Description

Our client, an international construction firm, is currently looking for an Environment Engineer/HSE Officer for one of their ongoing projects, and the right candidate will be based in the Wester Region of Abu Dhabi. The roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Conducts data analysis based on monitoring data
  • Conducts environmental investigation
  • Performs environmental sampling
  • Responsible for monitoring and assessing hazardous and unsafe situations and developing measures to assure personnel safety.
  • Will correct unsafe acts or conditions through the regular line of authority, although the Safety Officer may exercise emergency authority to prevent or stop unsafe acts when immediate action is required.
  • Maintains awareness of active and developing situations.
  • Ensures the Site Safety and Health Plan is prepared and implemented.
  • Monitor local area compliance with OHS policy and procedures.
  • Help promote OHS awareness.
  • Develop the Health and Safety Management Systems (HSMS) depending on the nature of the activity and implement them.
RequirementsTo be considered for this job, you need to meet the following criteria:
  • Minimum 10 Years of experience is the related field including UAE
  • Technical experience in performing environmental capabilities
  • With Bachelors degree in Engineering
  • Good communication skill in English
  • Preferably someone with experience in a Construction / Engineering company
  • Must be an active person to take challenging job
  • Willing to be based in the Western Region of Abu Dhabi
  • Construction Management Plan or ISO 14001:2015 equivalent is REQUIRED
