As the Enterprise Architect, you will work closely with the CIO, establishing the architecture practice to develop the overall vision of IT solutions delivered to the business.Client DetailsA very successful, leading organisation in the Abu Dhabi investing heavily in the redesign of their existing portfolio.DescriptionEnsuring alignment of the IT solutions against the relevant architectural standards.Conducts and oversees studies and the preparation of initiative reports that include study findings, presentations, recommendations, and instructions for proposed system implementations; formulates logical descriptions of problems; and devises and implements optimum solutions.Translate business strategy into technical strategy and define end-to-end technology architectures that support the strategy.Map out the AS-IS state and define and manage a target state architecture encompassing business, technical and information architectural disciplines.Promote and support agile delivery methods, including Continuous Delivery pipeline and Dev-ops capabilities leveraging modern architecture practices such as Microservices, API and cloud.ProfileOverall of 15+ years of experience, with at least 5 years of leading an Enterprise Architecture practice.Track record of taking a business on an EA journey with tangible achievements in the form of successfully reaching the target state.Personable - ability to present and sell the technology vision to senior stakeholders and a non-technical audience.Must come from a highly technical background which includes technical architecture, application development, middleware, database management etc.Must be familiar within an SAP, Oracle, and Microsoft environment.Experience in Airline domain is highly advantageous.Job OfferOpportunity to lead a new function with access to a large pool of resources to create something in your own vision.Very exciting leadership role for someone to lead a large-scale EA.Opportunity to work for a leading, high-profile organisation.
