Engineer- Well Integrity

Job Description

Job Purpose:Assure that Drilling Team are adopting the corporate Integrity Standard and manual of procedures related to wells integrity during drilling and workover stages.Key Accountabilities:

• Coordinate with Planning Performance and Scheduling Team to apply well integrity management requirements and provide technical support and to ensure adequate wells integrity management through assurance system.
• Coordinate and assure that corporate process is applied, maintained and adhered via WIMS performance, health checks, Quality assurance and fitness for service along with technical support activities related to WIMS and ADM for Drilling and Workover phases of the well lifecycle.
• Coordinate the verification of QA/QC is relevant to WIMS adoption and support of wells integrity issues ensuring that they are relevant to Drilling and communicate technical advices during planning, Drilling and Workover stages.
• Coordinate and advise Drilling teams on material selection of Drilling equipment (downhole, wellhead and completion) to ensure suitability of this equipment through well life cycle envelope.
• Ensure application of international standards (API, ISO) and best practice as appropriate.
• Coordinate and advise Drilling teams on integrity threats and gaps (i.e. Integrity issues during design, construction, SAP, downhole integrity/corrosion casing inspection & repair) and coordinate the preparation of periodic integrity reports about threats. Coordinate and provide Awareness/guidance to end users and involved parties on integrity requirements, process & procedures and assist the Drilling organization to develop and enhance wells integrity KPI.
• Coordinate with drilling team to ensure timely and accurate data /inputs in handover certificate and final well report
• Ensure represent Drilling function in all meeting related to Wells integrity and preserve drilling function team

Supervision

• Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.
• Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job and deliver the respective section objectives.

Budgets

• Provide input for preparation of the Section / Department budgets and assist in the implementation of the approved Budget and work plans to deliver Section objectives.
• Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control

Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures

• Implement approved Section / Department policies, processes, systems, standards and procedures in order to support execution of the Section?s / Department work programs in line with Company and International standards.

Performance Management

• Contribute to the achievement of the approved Performance Objectives for the Section / Department in line with the Company Performance framework.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement

• Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes.
• Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line with ISO standards in order to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the function.

Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability

• Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of Practices.

Reports

• Provide inputs to prepare Section MIS and progress reports for Company Management.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills: Minimum Qualification

• Bachelor?s Degree in petroleum engineering or Equivalent.

Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills

• 5 years of experience in well testing activities.
