Job Description

? Revise and prepares in coordination with other departments/sections WVA requirements (Well ValveAssurance) documents specifying to drilling division the well completion, workover, drilling, wellintegrity, design of new wells and testing requirements in accordance with company and wellobjectives.? Recommends new methods/techniques to Drilling Division to carry out on drilling and or workoverwells with the objectives to reduce cost and improve performance adhering to well integrity standards.? Supervises day to day monitoring of drilling and workover operations as reported by drilling division.Includes identifying sub standard performance or faulty implementation and recommending corrective measures to ensure meeting of objectives and the cost-effective realization of well program.Coordinates activities with Drilling, Field facilities, Well Integrity, HSE&QA Divisions to ensure meetingwell objectives, in line with HSE.? Follows-up and evaluates wire line and wells monitoring operations according to the ReservoirMonitoring program and proposes solutions.? Prepare monthly, yearly petroleum engineering reports and studies related to existing well completion,intervention assessment and evaluation of new equipmenUtechniques to prolong well completionoperating life and to enhance the completion integrity to improve the wells performance.? Supervises and guide in computerizing well completion data in a flexible data base, to increasemanpower productivity and to enhance the interpreted data quality and manipulation.? Prepare PE input into Technical Committee Meeting TCM, DWISC & FDSC.? Conducts studies and contributes in the design and planning of activities such as Completion Design,Well Stimulation and Artificial lift methods.? Design upper and lower completion with ICVs and ICDs using NE tool or similar application.? Design and troubleshooting Gas lifted Wells and surface Network using application such as Prosper,Pipesim, OLGA.? Designs, supervises and follows-up stimulation Jobs (post rig/ acid boat) in addition well conformanceand other production technology activities.? Optimize lifting performance and detect vertical lift bottle-necking by running different simulationmodels such as prosper.? Provides technical support to Drilling Division for the smooth running of drilling operations to solveproblems, co-ordinating communication between Drilling Division & other divisions to ensure smoothoperations & assures the fulfilment of FDD, Production requirements.? Provides Technical Support Division with the monthly well testing and logging Bar Chart inaccordance with reservoir monitoring policy and follows-up the progress and achievement and attendsthe monthly Monitoring Bar Chart.? Conducts Risk assessment to new technology for application with stakeholders.? Provide input for preparation of the Department / Section budgets and assist in the implementation ofthe approved Budget and work plans to deliver Section objectives.? Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control.? Visits rig/barge for investigation purposes or witness jobs on site.? Participates fully/partially in task forces and issues relevant reports.? Evaluates problematic/inactive wells and provides the best solution fit for short & long terms.? Review and verify all phases in well integrity certificate #1 &2 assuring adhering to well integritystandards.
