Job Description

About the role:

  • The infrastructure Engineer will be overseeing specific infrastructure, Roads, Utilities and enabling works construction packages a part of a new residential development.
Key responsibilities and duties are listed, but not limited to, the below:
  • Liaise with the Project Manager, contractor, the client and the clients project manager
  • Review and implementation and drawings for feasibilities and interfaces between project demands including project dependent, structure and related engineering
  • Responsible for timely production and delivery of reliable project solutions
  • Responsible for ensuring that the section of works are constructed in accordance with the contract requirements
  • Check contractors submissions and respond to the contractors request for information
  • Observe site safety procedures and actively monitor and report on contractors safety performance, raising non-conformance reports when required.
  • Actively monitor implementation of contractors quality procedures and raise non-conformance reports when required.
  • Responsible for maintaining and enhancing Mott MacDonalds reputation with the client and developing further long-term client relationships
Candidate Specification
  • Bachelors degree in civil engineering (or Architecture) from an accredited university
  • Experience in all aspects of supervision and experience in the Abu Dhabi.
  • Experience in large infrastructure projects
  • Demonstrable and extensive knowledge and experience in the execution of land development works, Roads & Utilities including infrastructure and site improvements.
  • Experience must include all Health and Safety and Environmental Protection aspects of the construction and operations.
