Job Title: Electronics/Electromagnetics EngineerReporting To : Electrical Design ManagerIndustry: Automobile Manufacture (Military Vehicle - 4x4 / 6x6)Job Location : Abu Dhabi? Conducting Mil-Std 461 tests at company EMC facility or contracted partners ? Manage, maintain and expand the companys EMC test facility, equipment and test methods. ? Generate processes and test procedures to ensure consistency on the EMI performance. ? Support suppliers and sub-contractors to achieve company EMI expectations. ? Design and/or modification of Electrical and Electronic vehicle hardware in order to achieve standards and requirements. ? Advice and participate on platform design from concept to prototyping. ? Implementing best design practices and procedures to meet EMC standards. ? Prepare specification documents, test plans, analyzing test reports and propose design changes in order to achieve compliance to military EMC standards ? Concept, Specification, design, and validation of the vehicle platform electrical components, interconnects, and sub-systems to meet military standards, requirements such us MIL-STD-461 / 464 / 1275, DefStan-61-5 / 59-411, etc.? Adhere to OHSE legislations, standards and the Organization Policy?s & Procedures related to standards ? Comply with reasonable OHSE instructions and safe working procedures: - use of appropriate personal protective equipment and safety systems be familiar with emergency and evacuation procedures, - not willfully or recklessly endanger anyones health and safety, - assist with the preparation of risk assessments, and - Report OHSE hazards, incidents, and issues.? Expertise in working in defence and military environment. ? Experience with vehicle electrical and electronic systems. ? Proficient in structured engineering processes. ? Experience with configuration management, and quality assurance. ? Proficient with modern computer aided design tools. ? Demonstrated sound knowledge in working with EMC related laboratory and workshop instrumentation.? Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time ? Must be able to deal with work-related deadlines, accountabilities and responsibilities ? Must be able to work under frequent job pressure generated by short and inflexible deadlines ? Must be able to work independently and under time constraints.
