Develop firmware and software for microcontrollers and embedded systems. Write code to control sensors and communication interfaces.
Conduct thorough testing and validation of the electronic components, ensuring compatibility, reliability, and performance. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to electronic hardware or software.
Design and implement control systems for robotic platforms, including motor control, motion planning, and navigation algorithms.
Create and optimize printed circuit board (PCB) layouts to accommodate electronic components and subsystems. Utilize CAD software and design tools to develop schematics, circuitry, and PCB layouts. Build prototypes and conduct testing to validate the design and ensure functionality and performance.
Involves understanding the overall system requirements, determining the necessary electronic subsystems, and selecting appropriate sensors, microcontrollers, and communication interfaces.
Maintain detailed documentation, including design specifications, circuit diagrams, technical reports, and user manuals. Create comprehensive documentation to assist in the manufacturing, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical engineers, software engineers. Communicate effectively to convey technical concepts, provide progress updates, and collaborate on the development and integration of systems.
