Job Description

The Draftsman position in Abu Dhabi, UAE, is a pivotal role within the construction and building industry. This role requires a skilled professional who can translate architectural concepts into detailed technical drawings and plans. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and regulations, ensuring that all designs comply with local standards. As a Draftsman, you will work closely with architects and engineers to create precise drawings that facilitate the construction of various projects.Responsibilities:

  1. Create detailed technical drawings and plans based on architectural designs.
  2. Collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure accuracy and feasibility of designs.
  3. Review and modify existing drawings as necessary to meet project requirements.
  4. Ensure all drawings comply with local building codes and regulations.
  5. Maintain organized records of all drafts and revisions for easy access and reference.
  6. Assist in the preparation of project documentation and specifications.
  7. Participate in project meetings to discuss design changes and updates.
  8. Utilize CAD software to produce high-quality drawings efficiently.
  9. Conduct site visits to gather information and ensure designs are practical.
  10. Provide support to the construction team during the building phase to resolve any drawing-related issues.
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Proven experience as a Draftsman in the construction industry.
  2. Strong proficiency in CAD software and other drafting tools.
  3. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work.
