Job Description

Our client, an international construction firm, is currently looking for a Diesel Generator Technician / Operator to be based in the Western Region of Abu Dhabi, UAE. The roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Incomer cable glanding and termination on panel side.
  • Power Cable laying as per customer instruction.
  • Power Cable termination work on DG side.
  • Fuel hose connection between DG and Fuel Tank.
  • Earth Cable laying between DG, Fuel Tank & Panel
  • Earth Cable termination on DG, Fuel Tank
  • Fuel hose disconnection and rolling
  • Power cable disconnection and rolling
  • Earth Cable disconnection and rolling.
  • Daily monitoring all running DGs parameters and condition.
  • Daily monitoring the diesel level, if found low level then immediately inform to customer to refill.
  • Plan for periodic oil service as per DGs running hours.
  • Troubleshooting if any breakdown occurs.
  • Cleaning of all equipments if required.
  • Prepare reports
  • To inspect fire extinguisherandspillkit
RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
  • Bachelors degree in related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as Diesel Generator Technician within UAE
  • Extensive experience working in a Construction Plant Industry
  • Good communication in English language
  • Willing to be based in the Wester Region of Abu Dhabi
