Job Description

Title:Designer - Instrumentation & ControlDiploma in Electronics & Instrumentation (or) Electrical & Electronics (or) Electronics & Communication with 7 to 12 years of experience in Onshore Oil & Gas Projects (Greenfield & Brownfield).

  • Experience in preparing 2D AutoCAD layout design drawings such as instrument location drawing, cable tray & trench routing, control room equipment layout.
  • Experience in preparing engineering design deliverables such as cable schedule, cable block diagram, hook-ups, wiring drawings, loop drawings, installation drawing & MTO.
  • Develop E3D model to clarify instrument requirements on the model inclusive of cable trench, trays, junction boxes & field instrument placements.
  • Experience in extracting 2D layout drawings from E3D model.
  • Liase with Engineers to ensure design intents are implemented in the deliverables.
  • Assist in the preparation of the Instrument BOM.
  • Incorporate instrument & system vendor data received into instrument design database, termination schedules, loop drawings, installation, and hook-up drawing.
  • Experience in brownfield projects will be advantageous.
