Job Description

Job PurposePlan, direct and manage the Domestic and International Toll Blending across countries in Africa, Middle East, Europe, China, Indian Sub-Continent and Southeast Asia. Sets Sales, Raw Materials Demand and Supply strategy for each location. Constant monitoring of COGS across various Toll Blending locations to boost sales and promote ADNOC Distribution image and reputation.Job Specific Accountabilities (Part 1)Toll Blender Finalisation? Support the Technology team in prospecting and due diligence to find out toll blenders in the country of interest.? Studies and analyses the current situation for existing and future investments. Obtains market specific data on cost of raw materials, blending fees, competitor price analysis, feasibility of blending.Operational Strategy:? Develop strategies, policies and procedures for Toll Blending Department. Develop and direct implementation of strategy for each toll blending locations by developing standard and unique SOPS.? Plan and monitor toll blending COGS to ensure operational profitability of ADNOC lubricants at all times. Negotiate terms and conditions in a changing environment of toll blenders for new products and offerings.? Defines processes to capture production data & designs management information system routes to capture and aggregate production data. Makes resources available and train stakeholders on implementation of new processes. Monitors compliance level with processes and report challenge.Job Specific Accountabilities (Part 2)Operational Responsibilities? Responsible for directing and managing all toll blending process including,

1. o Ensure proper communication with Finance Group, DSD, ISD, ITD, LD and all other departments as necessary for Third Party Blending and operations.
2. o Single point of communication between toll blender and ADD after signup of agreement with the toll blender
3. o Review cost price list from toll blender on a monthly basis and send across to DMIS / DMDS.

? DOMESTIC TOLL BLENDINGo Arrange for registration of multiple toll blenders in the UAE and countries of direct operations like KSA.o Ensure blending orders and purchase orders are timely and accurately placed for domestic orders. Ensure timely and accurate product delivery to ADD warehouse.o Review monthly reconciliation for domestic supplies received from toll blenders. Approve Domestic Toll Blender Invoices against supply.o Issue Authorization for Packaging suppliers to supply packaging materials to toll blenders.? INTERNATIONAL TOLL BLENDINGo Ensure Royalty Proforma Invoice and Dispatch Advice are issued to Toll Blenders.o Control / monitor local transaction between distributor and toll blender for International Sales.o Ensure Product Delivery to International Distributors from International Toll Blenders at right price with right royalty.o Ensure payment of taxes and duties, if any, by toll blender in the respective countries.o Propose different models of toll blending depending on local laws of country of interest.Relationship Management? Develop and maintain effective business relationships with all relevant internal departments and external entities such as consultants, local, international and government authorities etc. with highest standards of business ethics, whilst promptly attending to all critical issues in-order to ensure the services required by the organization are delivered in the most effective manner.Job Specific Accountabilities (Part 3)Generic AccountabilitiesOperational Plans? Develop consistent and realistic long and short term operational plans for the Department in line with the Division objectives and manage the implementation of the approved long and short term plans and ensure they are effectively converted into its performance objectives to realise the Division Objectives and established service levels.Budgets and Cost Control? Develop and manage the Department annual budget in line with the Division?s business objectives and operational plans ensuring that adequate funding provision is made for all Department activities.? Monitor expenditure against approved Department budget on a regular basis; investigate, highlight and reconcile any significant variances to ensure effective performance and cost control.Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures? Develop and implement appropriate Department policies, processes, systems, standards, procedures and internal controls, Company guidelines in order to support execution of the Division?s work programs in line with Company and International standards.Performance Management? Contribute to the development of the Division?s KPI?s and ensure proper cascade of the Performance objectives within the Department and establish monitoring mechanisms to ensure delivery of these objectives and promote a performance driven culture.? Manage the implementation of the Company Performance Management System for individuals within the Department in accordance with Company approved guidelines.People Development? Develop knowledge, competencies and innovative spirit in the Department and support the establishment of Personal Development Plans (PDP?s), Succession Planning and Talent pipeline within the Department in coordination with the Human Capital to continuously develop employees with emphasis on UAE Nationals to meet Emiratization targets.Organisation Structure and Development? Review, develop and recommend the appropriate organisation structure for the Department that will best utilise human capital while proactively incorporating sustainability into the on-going work practices to meet the business objectives.Generic Accountabilities (continue)Risk Management? Contribute and support establishment of a Corporate Integrated Risk Management System within the Department, while identifying and assessing relevant domain risks and implement measures to manage and mitigate all identified risks within the Department.? Communicate corporate business ethics and Company?s Code of Conduct to employees within the Department and ensure compliance to the Corporate Policies and guidelines.Innovation and Continuous Improvement? Promote an organisation culture that encourages innovation, enhances employee motivation and supports initiatives for implementation of Change Management to continuously improve the Department operations and services.? Recommend improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line with best Industry standards in order to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the Department.Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability? Support the institution and implementation of an HSE culture and ensure compliance with relevant HSE policies, procedures, systems & controls and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines across the Department in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of Practices.? Ensure adequate HSE training and induction for all Department employees to meet HSE standards.Management Reports? Ensure that all Department MIS and progress reports are prepared to provide accurate and timely reports and necessary information to Company Management to effectively manage the businessInternal Communications & Working Relationships? Bachelor?s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or equivalent. Engineering Background preferred.? MBA is an advantage.Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills? 12 years of experience in Lubricants Blending especially Toll Blending in International arena. At least 6 years of managerial responsibilities.? Multi-functional operational management experience.? Deep knowledge of business workflows, operations processes and systems in lubricant blending environment.? Experience of developing strategic plans lubricant blending.? Strong experience in project management and the execution of complex projects that are critical to the delivery of business strategies and goals.? International exposure are a plus.? Innovative and conceptual thinking? Highly skilled in aligning goals with strategic direction? In depth knowledge of ADNOC Distribution?s business objectives, operations and of the regional laws and regulations? Strategic thinking? Ability to drive organizational climate/culture?
