Job Description

JOB PURPOSE:Set and lead the implementation of Asset Integrity & Process Safety strategies to ensure that company assets are performing its functions effectively and efficiently, to improve operational reliability, safety and asset protection while optimizing performance, and cost efficiencies.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:Job Specific Accountabilities

  • Manage the development and implementation of policies, procedures and systems to ensure that company assets are fit-for-purpose to ensure operational and cost efficiencies.
  • Design and implement required assurance programs (with respect to plant, personnel & process) to ensure that all risks associated with the design and operations of the assets are identified, and risk assessments are effectively performed to eliminate or block hazards.
  • Oversee the definition, implementation and continuous monitoring of technical barriers. Ensure that these are robust and reliable throughout the asset life cycle to eliminate or block any hazards.
  • Ensure that assets are maintained at an acceptable level (fit-for-purpose) in compliance with Asset Integrity and HSE policies and any other relevant referential documents, to ensure effective and efficient asset operations.
  • Lead the establishment of an Asset Integrity Management System ensuring that it?s within the ADD operating context in order to address ADD?s requirements.
  • In collaboration with all involved stakeholders, establish the key measures and indicators that will allow monitoring of integrity performance (aligned to ADNOC-HQ directives).
  • Ensure the monitoring of these measures/indicators, and recommend any remedial actions in order to prevent or mitigate potential integrity breach. Recommend audits/self-audits based on pre-established protocols.
  • Ensure that governance and reporting are aligned to AIPS requirements, and ADNOC-HQ directives.
  • Highlight issues to Management that needs remedial actions.
COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:Internal? Line Manager (currently CBCSO)? Direct reports, and occasionally indirect reports.? Finance, Internal Audit, Corporate Governance and Legal Departments? Other departments ? involved in asset management/operations (i.e. Operations Group/Commercial Group)? HSE for safety processExternal? Contractors? Consultants and service companies? Other ADNOC Group Company staff and ADNOC HQ staffQUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:Minimum Qualification? Bachelor?s degree in Engineering or any related discipline, with strong technical background preferably MechanicalMinimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills? With more than ten (10) years of experience, in a varied asset integrity and process safetymanagement related functions in an oil/gas or petrochemical environment, five (5+) years of which are in a managerial position.? With working knowledge and experience in the implementation of Quality and HSE Management systems? Working exposure to best practices in AIPS? Must be up-to-date with any applicable Asset Integrity Management international and local legislations? Must be up-to-date with applicable Health, Safety and Environmental international and local legislationsProfessional Certifications? Certification in Asset Integrity Professional or any relevant certifications preferred.? Master?s degree in Business Administration is highly preferred.
