  • Keep the database up and running smoothly 24/7 and provide a seamless flow of information considering both backend data structure and frontend accessibility for end-users.
  • Work with the software development team to deliver large scale public transportation related projects.
  • Install and maintain the performance of database servers.
  • Set, maintain database standards and perform tuning of database systems
  • Perform installation, patching, upgrading, troubleshooting for the database and database infrastructure
˙Qualifications:˙
  • 40 years old and below
  • Must have Bachelor?s degree in computer science or any related degree
  • Must at least 5 years? experience in database administration, information technology, database architecture, or a related field
  • Experience with Linux, Unix, Windows Server environments, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Oracle Exadata will be an added advantage
  • Experience in Database HA, Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), native monitoring, troubleshooting tools, database security hardening and CIS compliance is a plus
