Oversee the Enterprise Architecture and integration of business applications such as Oracle and Oracle Finance, collaborating with the IT management team on requirements and mechanisms.Client DetailsA prominent organisation in Abu Dhabi seeking professionals in Database Administration.DescriptionYou will be responsible for the database administration and management (Oracle R12 Database) ensuring performance, security, and availability.Lead the development of databases, focusing particularly on their reporting capacity and disaster recovery.Manage the integrations between all IT systems Support tools, content, and technologies, roles, users, security, internal system notifications and other technology user accounts.Build database API integration tools, data models, datasets, database views, BI reporting dashboard tools (Argos, Tableau etc).Conduct workshops and end-user training for the support tools and technologies based on business requirements.Manage the development of a data warehouse, ensuring its availability and reliability to appropriately structure.ProfileA minimum of 5 years of experience in Oracle EBS R12 database or Banner SIS Oracle Database and Systems Architecture.Hands-on experience working with BI reporting tools such as PowerBI or Argos.Experience with Database backup / Restores part of Disaster recovery activities and Quarterly restore tests.Expertise with setting up Oracle DR replication of Oracle databases utilizing Oracle DataGuard or other equivalent solutions from Oracle.Experience in data warehouse for BI analytics.Strong working and integration experience with other systems, preferably Education systems.SDLC exposure with experience with SQL/PLSQL scripting, JAVA coding and development tools.Analytical, detail oriented and possesses strong statistical skills.Job OfferExciting role with a long-standing institution in the UAE.Opportunity to work in a collaborative environment on integration initiatives.
