The platform will provide seamless connectivity between consumers and businesses, enabling users to effortlessly access home, e-commerce, and fintech services in one place.Astras mission is to enrich peoples lives by making communication and e-commerce more seamless, connected, and natural.Role summary:We are seeking an experienced and analytical Credit Portfolio Manager to oversee and manage our credit portfolios. The Credit Portfolio Manager will be responsible for monitoring portfolio performance, assessing credit risk, and making strategic recommendations to optimize returns while maintaining acceptable risk levels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in credit analysis, portfolio management, and risk assessment, coupled with excellent analytical and decision-making skills.Key Responsibilities:Portfolio Management:

  • Oversee and manage the credit portfolio to ensure alignment with the companys risk appetite and financial objectives.
  • Monitor portfolio performance, identifying trends, and making recommendations for adjustments as needed.
  • Conduct regular portfolio reviews to assess the risk profile and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Credit Risk Assessment:
  • Analyze and assess credit risk for new and existing clients, ensuring that all credit decisions are based on sound risk analysis.
  • Develop and maintain credit risk models and frameworks to evaluate creditworthiness and potential risks.
  • Identify, measure, and mitigate potential credit risks in the portfolio.
Reporting and Analytics:
  • Prepare detailed reports on portfolio performance, risk exposure, and key metrics for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Utilize data analysis tools to track and report on credit risk trends and portfolio health.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Strategy and Optimization:
  • Collaborate with the finance and risk teams to develop strategies that optimize portfolio performance while managing risk.
  • Work closely with the business development team to identify opportunities for portfolio growth while maintaining risk controls.
  • Implement strategies to improve the risk-adjusted return of the portfolio.
Regulatory Compliance:
  • Ensure all credit portfolio activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Stay informed of regulatory changes and assess their impact on the credit portfolio.
  • Lead and support audit and regulatory examination processes related to credit portfolio management.
Team Leadership and Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, risk management, and business development, to align portfolio management strategies with company goals.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and risk awareness within the team.
Requirements:Education:
  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Masters degree or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) is preferred.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in credit risk management, portfolio management, or a similar role.
  • Proven experience in managing large credit portfolios and conducting credit risk analysis.
Skills:
  • Strong understanding of credit risk principles, portfolio management, and financial analysis.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, credit risk assessment tools, and data analysis software (e.g., Excel, SAS, SQL).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to non-experts.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to credit risk.
