Collect relevant financial and non-financial information about clients to keep abreast of latest development
Reading financial briefings to stay informed on macro and micro financial trends and updates
Assessing, analysing and interpreting complex financial statements and information to prepare credit memos and applications
Completing high quality credit application forms in a timely manner and presentation to credit committees for approval
Using credit-scoring systems for grading client exposures
Visiting clients with coverage teams to assist in structuring deals and client relationship management
Ensure compliance with relevant internal policies and procedures especially those related to credit risk management
Keeping company credit exposures within set risk approval terms and portfolio standards
Keeping knowledge of key issues up-to-date (for example legal, market risk and compliance issues)
Helping to enhance the quality of credit applications
Making recommendations about procedural/policy changes
Contribute ideas for continuous improvement in credit assessment and monitoring processes, utilising digital and tech-enabled tools where possible
