We are currently looking to hire a skilled and experienced Consultant or Specialist in Medical Oncology to join our team.As a Consultant or Specialist in Medical Oncology at SearchPlus HR, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of cancer patients by providing expert care and specialized treatment options.In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating various types of cancer, evaluating patients, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, developing personalized treatment plans, and monitoring patient progress. Additionally, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for your patients.Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients medical history, symptoms, and perform thorough physical examinations
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as biopsies, blood tests, and imaging studies
  • Diagnose and stage cancer based on test results, determining the extent and spread of the disease
  • Develop personalized treatment plans for each patient, incorporating the latest advancements in medical oncology
  • Administer treatments, such as chemotherapy, radiation therapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapy
  • Monitor and manage the side effects and complications associated with cancer treatments
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of medical oncology through continuous learning and professional development
Requirements
  • Medical degree and valid license to practice as a Consultant or Specialist in Medical Oncology
  • Proven experience in diagnosing and treating various types of cancer
  • Strong knowledge of oncology principles, practices, and treatment options
  • Expertise in ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, such as biopsies and imaging studies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues
  • Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to multitask and prioritize patient needs
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to address complex oncology cases
  • Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care
  • Board certification or eligibility in Medical Oncology
  • Experience participating in clinical trials is a plus
