Job Description

A leading financial institution in Abu Dhabi, UAE is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Collection Officer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role. The Collection Officer will be responsible for managing the collection process, ensuring timely payment of outstanding debts, and maintaining accurate records. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to work independently, and a strong attention to detail.Responsibilities:

  1. úReviewing the company debtor list.
  2. úContacting customers and notifying them about their overdue bills.
  3. úAdvising customers on their payment options and suggesting methods of payment.
  4. úNegotiating suitable payments plans.
  5. úMaintaining customer payment records.
  6. úPreparing customer financial statements for banks and the state credit department.
  7. úWriting final notice warnings to customer when payments are not being made.
  8. úInstitutional legal action when customers fail to pay their debt.
  9. úResponding to customer queries.
  10. úContacting lawyers and insurance agencies to facilitate payments.ÿ
Preferred Candidate:
  • úNationality ? UAE nationals only.
  • úGender ? No preference.
  • úExcellent in negotiating skills.
  • úFamiliarity with state dept collection laws.
  • úKnowledge of payment plans and accounting procedures.
  • úGood written and communications skills.
  • úBachelor?s degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience as Collection Office
