Guests will enjoy an array of food and beverage facilities with an indoor/outdoor all day dining restaurant, lobby lounge, in room dining and pool bar.We currently offer an exciting career opportunity for a Cluster Director of Revenue- InterContinental Abu Dhabi & InterContinental Residences Abu Dhabi.The primary responsibility of this role is to direct revenue management processes at two InterContinental properties to maximize performance, profitability and return on investment by creating a positive and productive work environment.In co-operation with all revenue generating department heads, the role facilitates, guides and directs these departments in selecting the optimum revenue opportunities for the hotel. Measures total revenue performance against strategy and target and re-aligns current strategy if required. Actively monitors competitive environment and devises tactics and strategies to maximise market share. Maintains the hotel?s revenue systems integrity at all times and ensures all linked systems are aligned at all times.General Duties and responsibilities:REVENUEAssesses, evaluates and implements revenue generation strategies to ensure the maximization of revenue with the revenue and yield-committee.Conducts Yield meetingsPRICINGDetermines hotel pricing policy for all segments reflecting market conditions can competitive environment in conjunction with each specialist head of department.Monitors group ceilings with forecast demand and approve all group and meeting request Outside of the specified guideline.Sets strategies for overbooking level during high period.ANALYSESupports all departments with revenue related analysis as appropriateCompiles month end analysis and commentaryAnalyses lost business, conversion rates and lead-time in conjunction with Director of Sales & MarketingAssess and reviews booking behaviours and trends impacting the hotel businessSupports DOSM in analyzing effectiveness of sales resources deployed and proposes adjustments as appropriateBUDGET AND FORECASTProduces forecasts according to company guidelines for all revenuesThe successful candidate will have a relevant Bachelors degree and four or more years of experience in a similar role setting with direct supervisory experience over a revenue team, ideally with an international hotel brand.Excellent communication skills, strong knowledge of business trends, drive for results, coupled with the ability to think ahead and confidently to lead and develop yourself and colleagues will see you succeed in this role.
