Job Description

The Civil QC Inspector plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of construction projects within the oil and gas industry. This position involves rigorous inspection and testing of materials and workmanship to ensure adherence to project specifications and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and quality control processes, along with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to safety and quality assurance.Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct regular inspections of construction sites to monitor compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  2. Review and approve quality control plans, inspection test plans, and method statements.
  3. Perform tests on materials and workmanship to ensure they meet project requirements.
  4. Prepare and maintain detailed inspection reports and documentation.
  5. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  6. Ensure that all safety protocols are followed during inspections and site activities.
  7. Participate in quality audits and assist in the development of quality improvement initiatives.
  8. Provide training and guidance to site personnel on quality control procedures.
  9. Monitor the performance of subcontractors and suppliers to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  10. Stay updated on industry standards and best practices in quality control and civil engineering.
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil quality control inspection.
  2. Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and quality standards.
  3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  6. Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and safety.
  7. Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment.
  8. Relevant certifications in quality control or civil engineering.
  9. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  10. Willingness to travel to various project sites as required.
