•Degree in Civil Engineering with 10 years of experience.•Oil/Gas experience is a must•Determining the scope of the project, reviewing of preliminary data and deliverables such as proposal specifications and drawings.•Attending pre-bid meetings, etc. to determine the scope of work and required contents of the estimate before a project sets-off.•Utilize subcontractor or vendor cost and proposal data to support estimates and also evaluate and incorporate historical data from past projects, subcontracts, and productivity analysis reports, etc. into unit and man-hour figures to support the estimates for a project.•Responsible for providing complete quantity take-off, analysis, and estimate, and studies for all deliverables involved in the assigned scope.•Responsible for preparing and assembling bids and proposals for various contract types.•Identify design and constructability issues and analysis to determine constructability.•Define more cost-efficient alternatives to the proposed scope of project.•Responsible for preparing and assembling bids and proposals for various contract types.•Carry out commercial development of submitted bids, Assist Lead Contracts Engineer in contract negotiation.•Review and prepare the Tender brief which provides summary information of the Tender.•Coordinate to arrange for relevant contract document deliverables such as insurances, bonds, etc.•Development of Subcontractors list, perform pre-qualification of selected Subcontractors as required, and development of bidders list per contract package.•Receipt, review, and evaluation of submitted bid documents from Subcontractors.•Assist Lead Contractors Engineer in the evaluation of all contractual claims as submitted by Subcontractors.
