Job Description

  • Provide comprehensive leadership, direction to design and implement plans, policies and strategies for the effective, systematic and integrated functioning of the entire operations (Farm production, Technical Affairs, supply chain, QA&QC)
  • Manage day to day operation for the crop production activities in a cost-effective manner to ensure that crops are produced and prepared for delivery as per required specifications in terms of quality, quantity and according to agreed plan
  • Develop and direct the implementation of business plans and operational strategic plans for the reporting departments. Review and manage performance of the reporting operations units and departments in different locations and drive continuous improvement
  • Devise, oversee and control the financial and manpower budget for the area of responsibility. Review and endorse the yearly financial and manpower budgets of the reporting departments in various locations and manage their efficient utilization
  • Prioritize strategic projects in line with strategic objectives; Responsible for overall implementation of strategic projects. Ensure adequate resource allocation for ongoing projects
  • Lead the development programs in operation sector and apply the latest technology in all aspects of agriculture operations.
  • Optimize the operations cost and increase the productivity in operations.Ensure that products (vegetables/fruits/forage) are produced and prepared for delivery based on pre-arranged specifications in terms of quality, quantity, and cost-competitiveness as per plan.
