  • Responsible for overseeing a specific section of the kitchen, such as sauces, vegetables, or fish.
  • Preparation and cooking of dishes in their assigned section while making sure to maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety.
  • Ensuring the efficient use of ingredients and supplies to reduce waste and keep costs under control.
  • Collaborate with the head chef to develop new menu items and specials and assisting in menu planning and pricing as needed.
  • Manage and order supplies for their assigned section.
  • Participate in kitchen meetings and contributing ideas for menu development and kitchen improvements.
