Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTIONRole : Center of Excellence ManagerLocation : Abu Dhabi Key Accountabilities of the role

  • Responsible for managing end to end application including the process across all categories
  • Develop long term strategy for Ariba to enhance user experience , robust reporting for senior management
  • Develop continuous improvement plan to increase automation
  • Manage and co ordinate audit requirements to provide appropriate closure
  • Responsible to manage KRI aligning to the department objectives
  • Steer and map the right process and practices in utilization of the system across the organization
  • Develop strategy to bring in efficiency in operations and improve overall effectiveness of the system
  • Provides inbound application and functional support for all relevant and ARIBA applications both internally and externally
  • Provide specialist level functional and configuration knowledge in supporting and designing SAP solutions in ARIBA
  • Ensure compliance to existing, and development of required data and reporting standards
  • Conduct configuration changes to accommodate change requests and prototype activities - including performing initial testing
  • Raise and manage incidents and requests with ARIBA support, ensuring resolution of issues
  • Perform break/fix analysis and recommend solutions for procurement related processes
  • Hold detailed knowledge of Sourcing, Contract Management, Supplier Information Performance Management and ARIBA Procurement Content and Collaborative Commerce modules from an application facing perspective
  • Develop design approaches and recommendations to meet requirement of the department
  • Lifecycle implementations involving delivery of Ariba (may include but not limited to release ) sourcing, spend mgmt., procurement, invoicing, etc
  • Experience with developing functional and technical design documentation
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in procurement and SAP/Oracle ERP
Previous experience:
  • 14 years of experience in implementation and business analyst role relating to Supply chain
  • Experience of working with multiple industry verticals
