Job Description

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Restaurant Cashier to manage customer transactions and support the smooth operations of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling cash and card payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and providing exceptional customer service. Additionally, the cashier will manage online orders through various delivery platforms such as Talabat, Deliveroo, Noon, and Smiles, ensuring timely and accurate order processing.Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Interaction:
  • Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Assist customers with placing dine-in or take-out orders, answering menu questions, and addressing concerns.
  • Payment Handling:
  • Accurately handle cash, card, and digital payments.
  • Ensure the cash drawer is balanced at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Issue receipts, refunds, or change accurately.
  • Order Management:
  • Process orders swiftly and accurately for dine-in, takeout, and delivery.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure customer orders are completed on time.
  • Manage and monitor online orders through delivery platforms like Talabat, Deliveroo, Noon, and Smiles.
  • Ensure online orders are prepared correctly and handed over to delivery personnel promptly.
  • Delivery Platform Management:
  • Receive and confirm online orders from Talabat, Deliveroo, Noon, Smiles, and other delivery platforms.
  • Ensure all orders from online platforms are processed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Liaise with drivers and customers to resolve any issues or delays with deliveries.
  • Keep track of online order flow and report any technical issues with the platforms.
  • Record Keeping:
  • Maintain accurate records of daily transactions and sales reports.
  • Ensure proper documentation for financial auditing and inventory control.
  • Customer Service:
  • Address customer complaints or issues and escalate them to the manager when necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and organized cashier counter and customer service area.
