We are looking for a CASHIER with relevant experience in RETAIL/FASHION/APPAREL industry. JOB DESCRIPTION:Receives payment from customer for goods or services and record amount receivedRecomputed or computes bill, itemized lists, and tickets showing amount due, using adding machine or cash register.Prepare change, checks and issue receipts or tickets to customers.Prepare report of transactions, recorded on cash register tape and verifies against cash on hand.Knowledge to the value and features of itemsPrepare cash refunds or issue credit memorandums to customers for returned merchandise.Operate cash register with peripheral electronic data processing equipment by passing individual price coded items across electronic scanner to record price.Compile printed list, and display cost of customer purchase, tax, and rebates on monitor screen.Disburse funds and records monetary transactions in business establishment or place of public accommodationCount money to verify amount and issue receipts for funds received.Endorse checks, lists and total cash and checks for bank deposit.Posts data and balance accounts.Compiles collection, disbursement, and bank-reconciliation reports.Issue itemized statement to customer.Perform other related functions that may be assigned from time to time.
