Job Description

Job Purpose

  • Responsible for operating and maintaining the cable lay equipment˙
Principal Accountabilities
  • Repair any mechanical defect the equipment may experience during the offshore installation campaign as instructed by his supervisor
  • Report detailed job activities to Cable Laying supervisor on daily basis
  • Prepare all the items and accessories required for the cable laying scope are available onboard the barge ?
  • Keep a well-documented log of all accessories which are mobilized with cable laying equipment
  • In charge of dismantling and demobilization of the cable laying equipment and its maintenance during the idle period
  • Compliance in accordance with Company codes and HSE standards˙
