The Business Development Director is responsible for leading all new business efforts to secure new clients and organically grow existing clients. The person for this position will be managing the new business process to ensure integration across teams in developing responses to new business requests and RFPs. Reporting to the Managing Director, the role will work closely across the agency with the senior leadership team.˙Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and implement commercial strategies according to Magnitude goals and objectives aiming to accelerate the growth of the agency across all services we offer. (Digital Marketing, Creative Branding, Video Production and Influencer Marketing).
Lead the business development initiatives including identification of new prospective clients, mapping of client requirements and preparation of customized business proposals.
Lead the formulation and execution of business plans, pricing strategies and commercial policies to deliver sales, revenue and profitability targets.
Guide and support the BD/sales team in creation and delivery of effective pitches to capture targeted business deals meeting revenue and margin targets.
Plan and organize regular market research and collate inputs on market trends, customer behaviour, competition and opportunities to facilitate effective strategic decision making.
Supervise the business development team and provide mentoring, guidance and motivation to achieve high levels of efficiency, productivity and performance.
Conduct regular performance reviews, identify variances from plans and budgets and implement corrective and improvement plans.
