Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Frauds are prevented at the bank by conducting proactive checks.
  • Identify gaps/policy related issues that may lead to fraudulent behavior/activities.
  • Fraud awareness.
Specific Accountabilities
  • Conduct mail review on a periodic basis for staff who has prior disciplinary action.
  • Coordinate mystery shopping activities by identifying staff/business units based on review of fraud incidents, getting approval to share relevant data with the vendor, analyzing vendor reports and submitting for action. (When applicable)
  • Identify areas for conducting fraud awareness trainings and use digital/in person channels to raise fraud awareness.
  • Create awareness messages for customer and staff which is to be released on all applicable communication platforms.
  • Akhbar AL Ehtial newsletters are being created and published by FRI.
  • FRI also contribute with Fraud related news articles to the Aloumna newsletter which is published by MarCom.
  • Handling IFAW campaign and its related activities during that period. (End of year).
QualificationsThreshold Qualifications
  • Graduate
  • Certified Fraud Examiner, AML related certification
Years & Nature of Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in fraud risk/Compliance functions

  • Technical Competencies
Knowledge of banking products and channels
  • Knowledge of fraud schemes
  • Oral and written Communication skills
Additional InformationThis role is responsible to conduct awareness activities for customer & staff, preparing recognition vouchers for employees (Fraud Buster) and Trainings for departments and preparing newsletters
