Besides a well-equipped fitness room, Holiday Inn Abu Dhabi offers a pool and three massage rooms.Join us as anAssistant Sales Manager andbe a partof the dynamic team ofHoliday Inn Abu Dhabi.As an Assistant Sales Manager you?ll develop and implement sales and marketing strategies for the hotel, create and implement tactical plans and ensure revenue goals are achieved. Youll also regularly sell hotel rooms, meeting rooms, and food and beverage to client contacts. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Analyse local market trends and develop new business leads
  • Maximise all revenue opportunities
  • Contribute to the selling strategy of the hotel, and manage the departments? adherence to achieving that strategy
  • Understand the competitive marketplace and implement approaches to ensure the hotel stays ahead in the local market
  • Negotiate room rates / packages with corporate clients
  • Ensure the Sales Team Members are developed effectively and generate a culture of high-quality standards and pro-active selling
  • Work within current business strategies and recognize potential opportunities
  • Communicate with all departments as required within each hotel
  • Attend Sales events when required
  • Report on a weekly/monthly basis appointment, calls made, and list of business leads
  • Answer customer queries in a timely and suitable manner
Ideally, youll have at least two (2) years experience in a similar role handling corporate and leisure segment in 4 stars or 5 stars hotel. Ultimately, you have excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, proficient skills for written and oral communicationin English or other languages. You will need to be flexible with working hours, having good knowledge of hotel system is preferred and with UAE driving license.The right candidate portrays a professional image at all times and posses strong multi tasking and admin skills.
