Assistant Procurement ManagerJob Location : Abu Dhabi, UAEResponsibilities:•Prepare master list of pre-qualified consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.•Assisting in prequalifying new entities into the pre-qualified master list•Assist in maintaining a procurement department plan for ongoing / upcoming tenders in conjunction with other departments, establish tender lists for consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers.•Prepare of request for proposals/request for tenders prior to issuance to the market.•Attend to bidders queries pre-opening in coordination with other departments.•Assist to analyze returns from bidders taking note of qualifications / exclusions / normalization.•Conduct negotiations along with line manager in an ethical and professional manner with bidders’ post submission of original tender.•Prepare, compile, and issue post tender clarifications after line manager approval.•Prepare recommendations for shortlisting / award for internal sign off.Educational Requirements :•Civil Engineering / Quantity Surveying Degree / relevant degree.•Worked previously with a Developer in a procurement function for more than 1 year.•More than 6 years overall experience.•Good hand on experience in MS office, preferably professional level in MS excel.
