Job Description

Aircraft Engineer Structures- Etihad Engineering Aircraft Engineer Structures- Etihad Engineering Location: Abu Dhabi, AE #job-location.job-location-inline { display: inline; }SynopsisControl and lead base maintenance check, modification and repairs leading a limited number of structure/composite technicians. Certify all related assigned task in structure/composite under in house scope of approvals.Accountabilities

  • Lead and/or perform repair and modification of both internal and external aircraft structure in accordance with Technical Manuals, Engineering drawing, Engineering Orders and manufacturing Specifications.
  • Report to structure/ composite Manager/Lead engineer and is responsible for the completion of all assigned task with acceptable standards in relation to airworthiness and safety.
  • Responsible for the control and performance of a group of assigned technical staff.
  • Ensure that all aircraft documentation related to his work/project is completed and signed progressively.
  • Ensure compliance to safety regulations and safe working practice procedures.
  • Ensure compliance to tool control procedures and material control procedure.
  • Working to high standards of housekeeping and FOD control
Education & Experience
  • High school leaving certificate /or Education to University /college degree with Valid Aircraft License UAE GCAA or EASA License and Apprenticeship with Airline or 145 organization or equivalent organization ORAviation based Diploma.
  • Must possess 6+ years of strong structural/ composite Aircraft Maintenance experience preferably with MRO and/or airlines maintenance.
