Job Description

Summary: Our client is a global investor based in the UAE. They are looking to fortify their existing finance team by hiring a Qualified Financial Accounting Professional with around 4-6 years of experience.For the role to comply with UAE nationalization law, we are assisting our client in meeting this legal requirement by seeking qualified candidates who can contribute to fulfilling this obligation with a family book. Key Responsibilities:

  • Compile and maintain Financial Statements (balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements) to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Perform regular account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial data, identifying and correcting discrepancies in financial records.
  • Oversee the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and categorized, and prepare journal entries as needed.
  • Ensure timely and accurate tax compliance and reporting (filing of tax returns, including income tax, VAT, and other relevant tax filings, while staying updated on tax regulations).
  • Provide financial analysis and reporting to management, offering insights on financial performance, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
