Job Description

ÿWe are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and tax requirements.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
  • Manage payroll processing and ensure timely and accurate payments.
  • Conduct regular audits to identify and rectify discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment on financial goals and reporting.
  • Support the year-end audit process by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Stay updated on accounting standards and changes in regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations.
