Job Description

Basic Function:Supervisors all external aspects of soft service requirements in compliance with BICSc standards, sand management, road cleaning, soft landscaping, waste management and pest control.Job Scope:The Soft Service Estate Supervisor will oversee the external soft service requirements of the Estate, and plays an active and visible role, requiring excellent facilities management operational capability, with an ability to build strong internal and external relationships.Principle Duties:The Soft Service Estate Supervisor will be shadowing the FMA Soft Service Estate Supervisor and undergo training assessments to fulfil the scope of this role.˙The Soft Service Estate Supervisor will be responsible for the safe and compliant delivery of all related Soft Service Stream Management contracts within his/ her area of responsibility, namely:

  • External Cleaning Activities
  • Road Cleaning and Sand Management
  • Landscaping (Soft)
  • Pest Control
  • Waste Management
The Soft Service Estate Supervisor will be responsible for:
  • Supervise the delivery of the Estates external soft services.
  • Conduct routine inspection of allocated areas, inclusive of associated furniture and fixtures to identify needs for repairs or renovations.
  • Oversee the schedule for cleaning and estate disinfecting when required.
  • Monitor the Estates waste disposal and recycling.
  • Monitor estate proper waste disposal and recycling.
  • Ensure the cleaning Service Partner implements a service delivery methodology based upon BICSc.
  • Ensure appointed Service Partners deploy only trained staff, have adequate tools, equipment, machinery, and consumables available to deliver services.
  • Integrate the Service Partner services into a wider facilities management operation.
