Job Description

Job responsibilities: Prepare all the required data for all different taxes? declarations, VAT, WHT, CIT. Make sure all the data prepared has the proper supporting documentation. Work with the external tax consultant to review all the declaration prepared, provide them with the required analysis and documentation and make sure all declarations have been submitted to the tax portal on timely bases. Keep the required reconciliation between TB and declarations submitted with all justification/ documentation for any discrepancies. Proactively work with the external tax consultant preparing for different taxes inspections might occur. This includes:

  • Lead any tax inspection as required by the Egyptian Tax authority and be the process owner from start to end. This includes coordination with the external tax consultant, follow up on the project timeline and provide timely feedback for the finance leader.
  • In coordination with other functions, provide the required GLs analysis that matches the company statutory financials and answer all questions/queries might occur.
  • Provide all explanations and supporting documentation as required from the external consultant.
  • Challenge the inspection results to the maximum extent possible.
  • Be a continues learner and provide the company with useful take aways from every and each inspection to be applied in the future.
u Work with the corporate tax team to prepare the annual TP local file, prepare all the required analysis, provide supporting documentation as needed. Work with the corporate tax team in preparing the annual tax report. Support the finance leader with any tax related ad hock project. Work as the company internal tax consultant by continuously accumulating knowledge related to tax law and continuously published procedures from the Egyptian Tax Authority.
