Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team in 6th of October, Cairo. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the operation and maintenance of our equipment and machinery. You will play a crucial role in minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.Responsibilities:

  1. Perform regular inspections and maintenance of equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns
  2. Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, and develop and implement effective solutions
  3. Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure the reliability of equipment
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address maintenance needs, and provide technical support
  5. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repair and replacement of parts, and equipment performance
  6. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and implement measures to enhance workplace safety
  7. Monitor and control maintenance costs and expenses, and identify opportunities for cost optimization
  8. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, and recommend improvements to enhance equipment performance and reliability
  9. Train and mentor junior maintenance staff, and provide guidance and support as needed
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Bachelors degree in mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering or a related field
  2. Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance engineering
  3. Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, and experience in troubleshooting and repairs
  4. Proficiency in using maintenance software and tools for planning and tracking maintenance activities
  5. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and address issues proactively
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  7. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  8. Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality and safety standards
  9. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
