About the job Service Project ManagerOur client is a multinational organization, headquartered in the UK and with operations in the Middle East. The company provides specialist design, service, and global export of heat transfer technology including dedicated teams fully equipped to undertake all types of heat exchanger related work. They are trusted by a global roster of clients including F1 teams, national utilities, petrochemical producers, marine, and rail organizations.They are looking for an experienced Service Project Manager to lead the onshore and offshore projects in the UAE and international projects in the Middle East.Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead onshore and offshore projects in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah branches.
  • Lead onshore and offshore projects in international sites, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, KSA, Turkey, etc.
  • Handle workshop fabrication, repair, and service jobs in Sharjah.
  • Main focal point for all site and offshore shutdown, turnaround, and maintenance service projects.
  • Oversee and manage the project schedule & project reports.
  • Communicating and documenting project status, schedule of work, and strategic recommendations to clients, team members, and senior stakeholders regularly.
  • Assessment during bidding stage and site visits.
  • Guide estimation and proposal team for preparation of technical-commercial bids for major projects.
  • Prepare bidding stage and execution stage technical documents.
  • Monitoring day-to-day activities of the project team, ensuring work is progressing as planned and resource allocation.
Required Qualification & Work experience:
  • Engineering graduate with a minimum of 10 years of experience in project management.
  • Excellent knowledge in ASME code, NBIC code, and Standard engineering practices.
  • Experience in handling ASME U stamp and R stamp jobs.
  • In-depth knowledge of offshore mobilization procedures in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
  • Experience in handling marine repair jobs.
  • In-depth experience in handling projects in Abu Dhabi CICPA area.
  • Must be aware of CICPA and travel card procedures.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience in Power plant DESAL projects (DEWA)
  • Good knowledge in Lifting plan preparations, Risk assessment, etc.
  • Excellent knowledge in heat exchanger fabrication, repair, maintenance and servicing, and selection of various techniques based on the assessment of unit condition.
  • Must have knowledge in various chemicals and selection of chemicals for chemical cleaning projects, jetting techniques, specification of jetting machines.
