Job Description

Photographer/ Videographer - (220000CL)DescriptionAldar Education is currently seeking a Photographer/ Videographer to support our growing family of owned and operated schools in the UAE. Due to planned current and future expansion we are looking to add to our Operations Team supporting our British, US and IB curricula network of schools.The successful candidates will be closely aligned with our core values and ethos and possess a genuine understanding and appreciation of the values of the region.Job PurposeTo assist with all photo and video creative needs for Aldar Education portfolio of schools through planning, executing, and collaborating with the marketing team and schools. The Photographer/Videographer will be responsible for capturing, editing, delivering high quality photos and videos to support print and digital marketing.Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize, produce and deliver high-quality, creative and visually engaging photographs and video content tha supports the department and the overall marketing objectives.
  • Reviewing stakeholders? feedback to make sure it is implemented properly in the photos and videos
  • Work independently and cooperatively on multiple projects with marketing team, meeting deadlines and budget constraints, and scheduling project implementation based on workload, which may include five or more simultaneous projects.
  • Manage all stages of photography and video production, including project conception, filming/photographing, capturing professional quality audio, editing and distribution.
  • Update and maintain internal databases of photography, and video.
  • Work on a wide range of projects and media, using various computer software to edit and visualize innovative photos and videos.
  • Ability to edit and enhance photographs and videos using current industry standards to produce optimum results for print, web and other mediums in a timely manner.
  • Operates and maintains proper levels and calibration of cameras, audio and video recorders, and other production equipment.
  • Manage lighting setup using different lighting equipment, understanding best practices for using a wide range of lenses and camera filters.
  • Knowledge of Safe work practices, particularly lightning and equipment handling.
  • Must be able to juggle multiple projects, respond to immediate requests, and work in a high-energy, deadline-driven atmosphere.
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor?s degree in graphic design, art, or similar discipline
Minimum Experience:
  • 1-3 years of experience in video and digital photography.
Job Specifics, Knowledge & Skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe programs including Photoshop, Premiere, Lightroom, and After Effects.
  • Ability to expertly operate mid- to high-level cameras, video cameras, microphones, and lighting.
  • Demonstrated proficiency and passion for modern photography and videography styles.
  • Desire to continue to grow skill set with ongoing education and training.
