Heavy Vehicle Driver | Al Futtaim Logistics | Kizad | Abu Dhabi |Overview of the role:

Maintain economical fuel consumption through good driving practices and ensure vehicles are filled with a full tank at the end of each shift.
Inspect Truck, Car-Carrier and load for defect during and after trips and submit a written report if any defect found.
Submit all relevant items listed in the driver SOP accurately and on time; including Trip Sheets, Fuel Receipts, signed DOs, Police Reports and Defect Sheets.
Maintain a 100% damage-free record.Report all accident or incidents involving company equipment to Planning Team.Accurately maintain driver logbook in accordance with company requirements.
Provides a communication link between customers and Planning staff. Good communication and diplomacy skills required.
Knowledge of basic truck & automotive maintenance procedures. Awareness and compliance of company Health & Safety Policy.Knowledge of UAE roads and RTA regulations.
Adhere to company Quality SOP for driving and handling new vehicles.
