Job Description

Our Clienta leading multinational financial services company.Your Responsibilities

  • Lead the project management office, developing and maintaining the PMO strategy and roadmap in alignment with the banks overall strategy and objectives.
  • Manage a team of project managers, project coordinators, project assistants, providing direction, coaching, and guidance to ensure successful delivery of projects.
  • Foster an environment of collaboration and effective communication across project teams to ensure the delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to a high level of quality.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including senior executives, to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  • Implement and maintain project management standards and methodologies, ensuring consistency in approach and the use of best practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement of the PMO, including the development and implementation of new processes, tools, and templates.
  • Manage and prioritize the project portfolio, ensuring alignment with the banks strategic objectives and available resources.
  • Develop and maintain project budgets, resource allocation, and timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and risk management policies and procedures.
  • Hire, train, develop, and retain high-performing project managers, project coordinators and project assistants to ensure the continued growth of the PMO.
Your Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Project Management or a related field. An advanced degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects in a fast-paced environment, delivering projects on time, within budget, and to a high level of quality.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Experience in managing a diverse team of project managers, project coordinators and project assistants.
  • Experience hiring and retaining high performing project managers, project coordinators, project assistants.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex information and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Ability to work effectively with senior executives and key stakeholders.
  • Experience in the financial services industry is preferred.
