Emiratisation Manager (UAE national preferred) - (2200021992)Job: Human ResourcesPrimary Location: Africa & Middle East-United Arab Emirates-DubaiSchedule: Full-timeEmployee Status: PermanentPosting Date: 28/Sep/2022, 6:36:38 AMUnposting Date: 03/Oct/2022, 10:59:00 PMRole Responsibilities Job SummarySupport Head of Emiratisation to implement a proactive strategy to retain internal Emirati talent with a focus on creating long term development plans, driving succession into leadership positions in the Bank, and reducing attrition of UAEN employees.Responsibilities.Strategy

  • Drive the Talent Brokering agenda to support internal career progression of UAEN employees
  • Work with relevant stakeholders including HRBPs, Learning, people managers to better understand individuals? development needs and ensure that each UAE National has a robust development plan
  • Work with Learning to create a learning agenda to better develop and retain UAE Nationals; further embed the learning and development series specifically for UAE National talent (all levels)
  • Utilize internal candidates to create a strong UAE national pipeline to fulfil the senior positions in the bank
  • Work with stakeholders to create and implement effective succession plans for senior positions
  • Drive engagement of UAE Nationals by fostering a sense of community for UAE Nationals in the Bank, through Emiratisation initiatives (dedicated Bridge page, engagement activities)
  • Effectively communicate with internal stakeholders to ensure better delivery of our strategy
  • Work with PRB to ensure that UAE N are competitively positioned on compensation against market
People & Talent
  • Support Head of Emiratisation and Head of HR to implement the Emiratisation strategy to deliver against regulatory targets from Central Bank
  • Champion and act as a role model on the Group?s values and culture
  • Ensure that UAE Nationals identified on succession plans are tracked, with development plans reviewed on a regular basis
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition on internal movement of UAE Nationals, and in increasing the take up of the employee referral scheme.
  • Implement initiatives to help SCB UAE become the ?Employer of Choice? for Emiratis and strengthen our employer brand
  • Build and leverage relationships with EIBFS and top tier Universities to promote the SCB brand and increase uptake of the development programmes available to our employees
  • Work with people managers to ensure new joiner UAE Nationals are onboarded effectively, for eg, use of the 100-day plan.
Risk Management
  • Have a detailed understanding of the Bank?s Risk Management framework and its impact on Emiratisation
  • Support Head of Emiratisation and Head of HR on action points for any risk related items relevant to Emiratisation
Governance
  • Support implementation of policies, procedures, and standards in UAE through effective communication, training, advice and support
  • Help to embed Here for good and the Group Code of Conduct in country to ensure that adherence with the highest standards of ethics, and compliance with relevant policies, processes and regulations form part of the culture among employees
Regulatory & Business Conduct
  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group?s Values and Code of Conduct
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct
  • Work with the Ministry of Education for continuous development and education of UAE Nationals
